Original Seiko bracelet.
These watches were only produced for 2 months (Dec 1975 and Jan 1976) due to a surplus of 5626 (King Seiko and Grand Seiko) movements.
There were very few of these with the blue dial as most were the white dial. This one was made in Jan 1976 so was one of the last ones made

This was called “The Error Dial” because of the separate markings for London and GMT, it was long thought to be a manufacturing error by Seiko. This was an accurate depiction, by Seiko, of the experiment by British Prime Minister Harold Wilson to move London off of GMT by creating a new BST, or British Standard Time. This never really worked and he quickly reverted back to GMT, the name “The Error Dial” persists.
