The Seiko 7A48 Moon Phase Watch
This watch comes with the original JDM strap. The U.K version has gold inserts between the links as opposed to the stainless steel ones.
We retrofit all these watches with a Sapphire Crystal, to remove the worry of scratching or chipping.
Functions:
Stopwatch Function (Minute, Second and 5/100 (1/20) second hands).
The elapsed time is indicated with the large centre second hand and the sub dials at 3 and 9 O’clock. These show the 1/20th of a second and the elapsed minutes, respectively.
Calendar (date) Function. The current date is shown on the top sub-dial.
Lunar calendar function. The current phase of the moon is shown on the top sub-dial.
Counter function. As described in the manual.
Electronic circuit reset switch. Resets the watch back to the original settings.
Train wheel setting device. Allows the time to be set exactly, by suspending the movements of all hands while setting the time.
Battery life indicator. The second hand will move every 2 seconds to indicate the battery is running low and requires changing.
